Granular Fingerprint Powder

£67.97

Granular black powder is noted for its coal-black hue and its property of adhering to the latent print, but not to the background surface.

It is a heavy powder which will not float around in the air. Black powder is recommended for most general fingerprinting situations with a Squirrel brush.

White powder is noted for its brilliant white hue to cause contrast to the image and its property of adhering to the latent print, but not to the background surface.

It is a heavy powder which will not float around in the air. White powder is recommended for most general fingerprinting situations with a Squirrel brush on dark backgrounds.

Due to the granular nature of this powder it is advisable to photograph it as lifting could cause loss of evidence through the obliteration of detail from compacting the granules.
